Berry & Seed Oils

All of our Berry & Seed oils are cold pressed from seeds which are cleaned to 99% pure. The oil is extracted without the use of chemicals or solvents and is then fine filtered to remove any sediment.

Cranberry Seed Oil (Vaccinium Macrocarpon Seed Oil).

Usage Rates – 1-100%

Cranberry Seed oil contains a unique natural 1:1 ratio of Omega 3 & 6, together with Omega 9, essential fatty acids (EFAs). This helps in the absorption and utilization of EFAs in the skin, contributing to the Natural Moisturisation Factor (NMF) and thus aiding in moisture retention.

Cranberry Seed oil also contains a high percentage of Tocopherols, Tocotrienols (components of Vitamin E), phytosterols and Vitamin A. These constituents confer anti-oxidant and skin smoothing properties and are excellent for mature/aging and sensitive skin types. The anti-inflammatory properties of Cranberry Seed oil may benefit irritated and problem skin.

This remarkable oil sinks in extremely quickly, with no greasy residue, and is perfect for all skin types, particularly mature/aging, dry, sensitive and irritated skin.

Raspberry Seed Oil (Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil).

Usage Rates – 1-10%

Raspberry Seed oil contains a very high proportion of alpha and gamma Tocopherols (components of Vitamin E) which offer anti-oxidant properties and are beneficial for skin repair and retention of the skins’ elasticity. In addition, this oil contains Vitamin A and Omegas 3 & 6.

Raspberry Seed oil contributes to the lipid barrier of the skin and thus aids in moisture retention. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is beneficial to irritated skin.

Raspberry Seed oil also has protective properties against UV-A and UV-B rays, although formulations containing this oil cannot be marketed as offering SPF protection without extensive testing and obtaining a license.

Blackcurrant Seed oil contains a high percentage of Omegas 3 & 6, along with Linoleic and Stearidonic acids, helping maintain skin elasticity. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Excellent for all skin types, including dry, damaged or aging skin.
